The way teams choose defensive backs has changed in recent years. Do any of the undrafted free agents fit the new mold of a defensive back in the NFL?

The 2015 NFL Draft had plenty of depth at cornerback, but it lacked safety depth and was one of the weaker classes in recent memory.

With larger receivers on offense, the game has seen a paradigm shift where teams are looking to add long defensive backs who can match up with the larger receivers and tight ends.

There’s so many defensive backs available, that teams have multiple opportunities at finding a gem in the undrafted free agent class.

There’s no guarantee any of the players will pan out, but there’s a long list of available players.

With the draft over, here are the available undrafted free agent defensive backs.

Defensive backs:

Anthony Harris, Virginia
Jacoby Glenn, Central Florida
Nick Marshall, Auburn
Ladarius Gunter, Miami (Fla.)
Justin Coleman, Tennessee

Teams are now getting more athletic and pride themselves on speed. If any of these players have speed there is a good chance they can find a role in this league.

If they can contribute on special teams, they will have an even better chance.

Who will make it to the league from these undrafted free agents?
