Here is your daily fantasy baseball advice brought to you by Fantasy Baseball Crackerjacks!
Nelson Cruz, SEA @ HOU – FD $5,100 DK $5,400
Cruz is a beast. He has gone 5-for-8 in the series against the Houston Astros with three home runs (in only two games), three RBI, and three runs scored. Cruz was a great play on Friday and Saturday night, and I look for him to complete the perfect trifecta and have an amazing game on Sunday. I don’t know if there is such a thing as a must start in fantasy baseball, but Cruz is pretty darn close to it.

Michael Brantley, TOR @ CLE – FD $3,800 DK $4,900
Brantley and the Cleveland Indians are facing the worst pitching team in baseball in the Toronto Blue Jays. Brantley has gone 3-for-9 thus far in the series with a home run and three RBI. Brantley also has two stolen bases, which shows that he has power and speed. I look for Brantley to explode on Sunday against the Blue Jays, so make sure he is in your fantasy lineup.
Jay Bruce, CIN @ ATL – FD $3,000 DK $4,300
The Atlanta Braves are one of the worst pitching teams in baseball, which proves valuable for the Cincinnati Reds. A player to look out for on Sunday is Bruce. He scored 8.5 points on FanDuel on Saturday with two triples and two RBI. Bruce looks to have a big game on Sunday, and I think he has a chance to repeat the same success he had on Saturday against the Braves.
Justin Upton, COL @ SDP – FD $4,000 DK $4,400
The San Diego Padres have a great matchup against the 28th-ranked pitching staff of the Colorado Rockies. Upton has taken advantage of this matchup by going 4-for-8 with 4-RBI in this series. He scored 12.75 fantasy points on FanDuel on Friday night, but struggled a little bit on Saturday. I look for Upton to finish out the series against the Rockies with multiple hits and multiple RBI.
Charlie Blackmon, COL @ SDP – FD $3,700 DK $3,600
Blackmon would’ve been a great play on Saturday night as he hit a solo home run and added on a double against the Padres. He has a hit in eight out of his last 10 games, and I look for his success to continue on Sunday. Blackmon is a cheaper fantasy option, which increases his value overall on both FanDuel and DraftKings.
Other Players to Consider:
Brett Gardner, NYY @ BOS – FD $3,300 DK $4,900
Wil Myers, COL @ SDP – FD $3,500 DK $4,200
Joc Pederson, ARI @ LOS – FD $3,800 DK $4,200
