Tiger Woods, Lindsey Vonn announce break up
By Jack Crosby
After a nice little stint together, Tiger Woods and Lindsey Vonn have decided that it’s time to call it quits
Following a two-year relationship that was one of the more publicized ones in all of sports, Tiger Woods and Lindsey Vonn have officially decided to call it quits. Vonn made the announcement Sunday on her official Facebook page, which is kind of ironic when you remember the fact that they announced the beginning of their relationship on Facebook back in March of 2013.
So just like that, one of the largest power couples in all of sports is no more, so a lot of you can begin to express your sadness, fabricated or not.
Vonn was Woods’ first serious relationship since the very publicized split from his wife Elin Nordegren following his rampant cheating. Since the break up from his wife and the scandal that surrounded it, Woods has never really been the same on the golf course. However, one constant that he has had in his life for the better part of the last two years has been Vonn, who will no longer be there.
However, while people will speculate, the explanation from Vonn makes sense. She is still heavily into her skiing career, and Woods is still chasing the Majors record, currently held by the legend himself Jack Nicklaus with 18.
So from here, let’s all get ready for the tabloid rumors about why these two really broke up, as well as who their next high-profile partners will be; because you know those will be hitting the internet and grocery store newsstands by Monday morning.
