The first Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao fight is in the books, so when will they get back into the ring together?

Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao are dominating the night, but before they officially stepped into the ring with one another, the MGM Grand was filled with just about every famous face you could imagine. That was the last bit of hype we saw before the fight actually started, but once Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao stepped into the ring together, it was all about them.

Both fighters came out fast, but it just made us wish even more than before that this fight had happened five years prior to tonight. We will never know what it would be like if Pacquiao and Mayweather fought in their primes, but we at least saw them fight once.

We waited five years for this fight to happen, but all good originals have a sequel and as soon as the fight was over we were wondering when Mayweather-Pacquiao II will happen?

As of right now, there’s no indication that these two fighters will get back into the ring together — at least not anytime soon. But both of these fighters looked sharp the whole fight, and it makes us want to see more of what we saw.

After all, we waited five years for this fight to happen, which is a lot of the reason why it felt like it went by so fast. There were sequels to other classic fights and there will be a sequel to Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather.

We don’t know when another fight is going to happen but the plan all along seemed to be getting more than a few fights out of these two boxers and it’s only a matter of time before we go right back into the ‘gimme me more’ mood about Pacquiao and Mayweather fighting.
