Kyrie Irving put the moves on Joakim Noah and the Chicago Bulls to defense to pull the Cleveland Cavaliers within six of the Bulls in Game 1.

Like many of his Cleveland Cavaliers teammates, Kyrie Irving started slow in Game 1 of the team’s second-round series against the Bulls. The all-star point guard missed six of his first seven shots, as the Bulls jumped out to a big lead and led by 12 after a quarter.

However, the Cavaliers made a run in the second quarter to get themselves back in the game thanks in large part to Irving. The 23-year-old scored 10 points in 91 seconds in the middle of the period, helping the Cavs get within six.

Irving culminated his remarkable 91-second scoring binge with an excellent layup. He weaved his way through the Bulls’ defense and ultimately beat Joakim Noah at the rim.

Irving made Noah look awfully silly at the rim there.

With the Cavaliers missing Kevin Love and J.R. Smith, they needed Kyrie Irving to step up in a big way in this series.

It’s obviously really early, but Irving’s certainly answered the call to this point.
