FanDuel Lineup For May 6
With another two-game night and the ever-increasing price tags for players who are playing well we have another tough night on tap for us in daily fantasy basketball. We have been fairly close lately, but with these slates I am starting to think we may need to trot out a non-conventional lineup in order to break back into the money. I was not willing to go that route tonight as I feel good about the starters we are going with. If Chris Paul winds up playing our best bet will probably be to shuffle him in over Kyrie Irving at PG and find a suitable replacement at SG.

As already mentioned our starting PGs are Derrick Rose and Kyrie Irving. Both players are seeing increasing price tags, but the available players to choose from are slim. If we just get the points they put up last game we will already be up 80 points from just our point guard position.
At the SG spots we are going with Austin Rivers and James Harden. I said earlier that if Chris Paul winds up playing we will most likely need to find a suitable replacement for Rivers, or we could keep him in there and gamble that Rivers will see more touches due to the injury. That will be a tough call, but of course if Paul sits out almost everyone drafting a team at FanDuel will be using Rivers at his very cheap price tag.
Our SF starters for May 6th are going to be Mike Dunleavy and Matt Barnes. We are rolling out some cheaper options here, but once you get past LeBron James most of these players are likely to bring us no more than 25 fantasy points. If we can combine these two positions here and get 50 fantasy points I think that is a win for us. Our money is going to fall on the backs of our PGs and James Harden. Also it wall fall to our PF and C starters.
Over at the PF spots we are using Josh Smith and Pau Gasol. Smith really dropped the ball for us a few nights ago, but I gave him a call and asked him to see if he could drop 50 fantasy points for us and he said yes of course. Of course I am kidding, but wouldn’t it be cool if I did have his number and that was true? Well the Rockets will certainly need Smith to step up his game in order to even up the series and take the home-court advantage from the Clippers. Pau Gasol we can be confident in as he has brought the noise all season.
At C we roll out the big man in Cleveland Timofey Mozgov.
We thank you for stopping by and reading today and wish all you FanDuelers the best of luck today!
