Legendary Milwaukee Brewers broadcaster Bob Uecker was trapped in the booth for about an hour but was finally freed.

Bob Uecker is one of the most legendary announcers in the history of sports broadcasting, he’s also one of the funniest guys to ever get behind the mic.

Over several decades, Uecker has seen it all unfold on the field.

Wednesday night, Uecker experienced a new first as he and play-by-play man Joe Block got locked and trapped in their booth.

With nowhere to go, help had to be sent to the two as they continued to call the game.

Even more impressively help came in the form of a worker climbing a ladder from the concourse all the way up to the radio booth. That’s no small climb either.

The ladder also provided a brief obstructed view for the duo as the ladder was put up.

Uecker of course is used to having an obstructed and far away view from the game, when he starred in one of the most iconic Miller Lite commercials of all time.

Finally the guy made his way up the ladder and was able to remove the door so that the broadcasters could finally be freed from their booth.

There’s never a dull moment when Bob Uecker is in the booth, and on Wednesday excitement spanned all over the park as the Brewers organization finally set free the two after an hour in confinement.

The craziest part is that they found an extension ladder big enough to reach the broadcast booth and no one had to repel off the upper deck to get to them.

That would have been pretty sweet.
