FanDuel Lineup For May 8-9

I am pretty excited that FanDuel opened up some games for the two-night slate and expanded the player pool. Having four games to choose from beats just having two and enabled us to have a much easier time than just for the game that was May 8 only. With all of this I am pleased to bring you your FanDuel lineup for May 8-9.

Our PG starters will be Derrick Rose and Ramon Sessions. Rose has been playing pretty well and has been over 30 fantasy points in his last three games. It is nice to see Rose back to being confident in his game. Sessions will be a bit of a gamble, but if John Wall is limited or out than he should be a pretty good play. Sessions was over 30 fantasy points and has proven over and over to be a great play when he is given the minutes.

Our SG starters will be Bradley Beal and Courtney Lee. Beal has been playing well and with Wall hurt he should be looked upon to step up and play a bigger role in the offense. This could translate to a huge night for him and more importantly for our FanDuel lineup. Lee has been a pretty solid play and is a decent lock for 25 fantasy points at a reasonable price tag. He could also get hot get us over 30.

At SF we roll with LeBron James and Paul Pierce. I like the mixture here of really expensive and really cheap. Pierce is the consummate professional and should be good for his typical 25-30 fantasy point night. LeBron as we know is almost a dead lock for a 50 fantasy point night and is worth every penny of his $11,300 price tag. Here is to hoping that he gets really ticked off and brings home a record type of 60-70 point fantasy night.

Our PF starters are manned with two guys who have the potential to have huge nights and both come at a reasonable price tag. Zach Randolph and Josh Smith will be taking the hardwood for us. Randolph has been playing pretty well for us and has been over 34 fantasy points on his last two games. Smith should be looking to bounce back, but has been struggling a bit. The struggling has made him pretty affordable and he fits in our lineup nicely and gives a nice hint of upside and possesses the ability to put us over the top here.

  • Our starter at C is Marcin Gortat. Gortat has struggled just a little lately, but seems to be more comfortable playing at home. My hope is that all the Wizards not names John Wall can elevate their play a bit as the star PG is nursing a bad hand. As always we thank you for dropping by and wish you FanDuelers the best of luck!
