FanDuel Lineup For May 8

After an off night with no scheduled games for May 7th we bring you the FanDuel lineup for May 8. Once again we have a slate with two games which continues to make the player pool a bit depleted and that is most likely the most games we will get for the remainder of the season. I will also do a lineup today for the games that are stretched out over two days that has a four-game slate.

At PG we will roll out with Derrick Rose and Austin Rivers. If Chris Paul remains inactive I am hoping that Rivers will carry his weight as far as his cheap salary is concerned. Rose continues to play well and I like that he is starting to prove his naysayers wrong and hope as a Bulls fan that he will lead the Bulls to the Finals and possibly even a Finals victory.

At SG we look to roll with James Harden and J.J. Reddick. Harden is almost a 40 points fantasy night lock as he just continues to tear up the NBA. Reddick is playing a full complement of minutes and should be able to help us out here with the absence of Paul. His scoring should be needed.

Our SF starters are going to be LeBron James and Matt Barnes. James is really dialing up the intensity right now as he possibly fears elimination and feels the loss of Kevin Love. He is the priciest player in our lineup, but should be a lock for 50 fantasy points. If Barnes is able to continue his freakish output we could be looking at 90 – 100 fantasy points from the SF position and that will be a huge benefit for us.

At the PF spot is I feel where we are taking our gamble. We are rolling with the cheaper options of Josh Smith and Tristan Thompson. Smith is always a possibility to roll out a huge game fantasy wise and now that Thompson is the starting PF and getting around 35 minutes a game I am hoping that he will step up to the challenge and respond with a huge game.

  • At C we are rolling with Timofey Mozgov. I know he disappointed us the other night, but with the salary restriction it works out well for us to roll him out there and hope that James and him will hook up on several alley-oops and whatnot. As always we thank you for stopping by and wish you FanDuelers the best of luck!
