Tom Brady doesn’t think Super Bowl win is tainted
In an interview with Jim Gray at Salem State University, Tom Brady answered candidly about whether or not he thought the Patriots‘ Super Bowl win was tainted as a result of DelfateGate.
Tom Brady might be a popular man in Massachusetts right now, but he isn’t as popular around the rest of the country.

Speaking for the first time since the Ted Wells report on DeflateGate came out, Brady was asked multiple questions about it.
While he didn’t directly talk about the situation because he said he had not quite digested it yet, he did say he would speak about it at a later time.
One question he did answer candidly however. When Gray asked Brady if the situation taints the Patriots win over the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl XLIX, he responded with an emphatic and direct response.
“Absolutely Not.” Brady said.
Brady has a point, the game against Seattle was nothing short of incredible and came down to the very end where Seattle may have shot themselves in the foot with play calling, but that will be debated forever.
The game in question was against the Indianapolis Colts in the AFC Championship Game, and has no bearing on how New England performed in the Super Bowl. Even then, it’s hard to say how much of an impact it had on that game as the Patriots rolled right through the Colts.
Still with the Wells Report listing the things that did happen with the deflated footballs, there should be proper repercussions against those who took part in the actions.
We still have to hear what Brady says in his official statement, and this is something that will probably continue to drag on as the year goes by.
As for the Patriots epic victory over the Seahawks, that’s something that can’t be tainted or changed in the eyes of Tom Brady.
