After the Ted Wells Report was released, Tom Brady’s agent is denying that his client had any knowledge of any footballs being deflated.

While Patriots quarterback Tom Brady may not be ready to speak on DeflateGate yet, his agent is.

Speaking to Anderson Cooper on CNN, Brady’s agent Don Yee went on the defensive to defend his client and absolve him from any wrongdoing.

Yee was asked if Brady had any knowledge of the footballs that were deflated in the AFC Championship Game against the Indianapolis Colts.

His response was short and to the point, “No.”

He even took it a step past that and went on the offensive against Wells and challenged whether it was really and independent investigation.

Yee continued to maintain his clients innocence and as the fallout of this report continues, it will be interesting to see if there are any further investigations into this incident.

The report of courses infamously stated that “It was more probable than not” that Brady was somewhat aware of the activities that took place. It also stated that Brady failed to turn over any texts or emails.

Without any concrete evidence, Yee is really going on the attack to protect the image of his client. He didn’t stop there either; Yee also questioned the Colts and the league’s ethics regarding the situation.

"“What does it say about the league office’s protocols and ethics when it allows one team to tip it off to an issue prior to a championship game, and no league officials or game officials notified the Patriots of the same issue prior to the game?” Yee said. “This suggests it may be more probable than not that the league cooperated with the Colts in perpetrating a sting operation.”"

One thing is for sure, while the rest of the country may think less of Brady and the Patriots, if they hadn’t already after Spygate and any of the other “gates”, Brady is still as popular as ever back in the New England area.

Speaking at Salem State University with Jim Gray on Thursday, Brady walked into a thunderous standing ovation from the crowd in attendance.

The Wells Report is finally out, but the situation appears to be far from resolved and now we’re beginning to hear the other side of things.

If Yee has anything to say, his client is innocent.
