Tiger Woods has a lot of work to do before he wins his 15th major.

Tiger Woods has not been having a good week at The Players Championship, a tournament that has typically not been too good to him. He’s struggled mightily off the tee, made double-bogeys on two Par-5s in the same round for the first time in his career, and fell well out of contention early on.

Apparently Woods still has some things to work out with his new swing. Woods had his most memorable shot of the tournament (and not in a good way) on the second hole during Round 3 on Saturday.

The drive was measured at 105 yards, landing about 70 yards short of the location of the ladies tees. That left Woods with about 420 yards to the pin on the Par-5 second.

Woods would go on to double bogey the hole, adding another seven on the ninth hole. That’s not good for a player who appeared to have a really good chance at breaking Jack Nicklaus’ record if 18 majors just a couple of years ago.

And, of course, Twitter had some fun with this shot.

Woods would at least salvage something with eight pars and a birdie on the back nine Saturday, but a round score of 75 knocked him far out of contention. Through three rounds, Woods stands at +3, well behind leaders Chris Kirk and Kevin Na at -10.
