Kendrick Perkins can’t catch the ball, Jimmy Butler finishes with the dunk (Video)

Maybe passing the ball to Kendrick Perkins is something that the Cavaliers should not think about doing anymore

Oh, Kendrick Perkins. Don’t even remotely think about a career change as a wide receiver in the NFL, because you’re clearly not up to that task.

Sunday afternoon in Game 4 featuring the Bulls and Cavaliers, Perkins had one of the biggest blunders of the NBA Playoffs so far, and it ended up benefiting the Bulls to the tune of two points.

Perkins was indeed open on the possession and the pass was made in the second quarter. The only problem was…apparently Perkins doesn’t exactly have hands like Odell Beckham.

Because he can’t catch, Jimmy Butler was able to run the floor and throw down the monster slam.

Yeah, Perkins, at no time EVER in the future, will be the next basketball player to jump to a life in the NFL catching passes. If he couldn’t catch that, then an NFL quarterback might be a little too much for him.

In all seriousness, though, with the Cavaliers’ backs nearly firmly against the wall already down 2-1, plays like that simply can’t happen. The Cavaliers have to be sound on both ends of the court, and this play showed anything but.
