After sinking an amazing putt for birdie on the famous 17th hole at the TPC Sawgrass, Rory Sabbatini had no choice but to dance in celebration afterward.

The 17th hole at the TPC Sawgrass is one of the toughest holes there is as it’s completely surrounded by water.

At The Players Championship, Rory Sabbatini did what few generally do and mastered the hole with some incredible putting. Sabbatini sunk an incredibly long birdie putt much to the adoration of the crowds.

After soaking in the moment of the huge putt and crowd cheers, Sabbatini did a little dance for the crowd.

Not quite sure what to call that dance, and Sabbatini probably doesn’t know what to call it either, but after sinking a putt like that, how can you not dance?

Sabbatini would finish tied for 6th and shot a nine-under for the tournament overall. It may not have been good enough for the win, but it was a great four days of golf for the South African.

This is exactly what golf needs. Rather than the respectable golf clap, how about some dancing and natural hooligan activity after big shots? Sure, save the clapping and everything for the respected tournaments and majors, but let everyone loosen up a bit on the course.

It might even end up helping out their game by staying loose.

Keep on dancing Sabbatini.
