Cavaliers’ Kyrie Irving has tendinitis in left knee, sprained foot

An MRI confirmed that Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving has tendinitis in his left knee, as well as a sprained right foot.
The Cleveland Cavaliers are getting beat up physically in the NBA Playoffs. Point guard Kyrie Irving had an MRI on his left knee which confirmed that he had tendinitis. Irving also has been dealing with a sprained right foot on top of it.
You could say that the tendinitis in his left knee is because Irving has been over compensating for the injury in his right foot with the left side of his body. You should expect Irving to play in Game 5 on Tuesday night though, he will likely be benched to get healthy at this stage of the season and with the series tied at two games apiece.
The Cavaliers can’t really afford to be without Irving either. They’re already without one of their Big Three in Kevin Love, who had his arm ripped off by Boston Celtics forward Kelly Olynyk.
To make matters worse, LeBron James is banged up and hurt his left ankle in Game 4. He didn’t leave the game and stayed in, of course going on to hit the game winner in the final seconds.
