Chicago Bulls power forward Pau Gasol is unlikely for Game 5 and hasn’t done anything on the court ahead of Tuesday night’s game.

The Chicago Bulls were short handed on Sunday, with Pau Gasol sidelined because of a hamstring injury. For those fans hoping that Gasol would be back to play in Game 5 against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Tuesday night, it is looking less likely that will happen.

Bulls head coach Tom Thibodeau said that Gasol is just a “little better,” which obviously isn’t a whole lot of progress for a player trying to get back into an NBA Playoff series.

That doesn’t sound good for Gasol’s Game 5 hopes.

The Cleveland Cavaliers have their share of bumps and bruises in this series as well. They’re already without power forward Kevin Love, who was injured in the first-round series against the Boston Celtics. Point guard Kyrie Irving is dealing with tendinitis in the left knee and a sprained right foot.

Superstar LeBron James is dealing with a sprained left ankle as well.

This could end up being a series going to the team that is lest banged up, which would be the Chicago Bulls. Unfortunately for either team hoping for rest between rounds, this series looks like it could be headed to seven games.
