Houston Rockets center Dwight Howard invited a trash-talking fan to come out onto the court.

The Houston Rockets and Los Angeles Clippers are squaring off in the second round of the NBA Playoffs and things are a bit tense between the two teams. Primarily because of the hack-a-DeAndre Jordan method.

Rockets center Dwight Howard seemed particularly upset, getting a technical foul for shoving a referee and then getting into it with Matt Barnes who called him a not so nice name.

So when he was getting some heckling from the fans he wasn’t having it. It is hard to make out what the fans were saying, but it sounds like the fan is saying “Dwight, don’t cry man. Don’t cry.”

Then Howard responds by inviting the fan to come out on the court, presumably to say it to his face.

No one can really win in this situation, and Dwight comes out looking worse than the anonymous fan heckling him. As far as heckling goes, the taunts were pretty weak and a professional athlete should be able to handle it.

But as we saw, Howard clearly had people getting under his skin.
