Bulls point guard Derrick Rose did the unthinkable and scored a layup after bouncing a ball off Cavaliers forward Tristan Thompson’s face.

If the story of Derrick Rose making incredible layups hasn’t been told enough, it needs to be told again.

His latest masterpiece came as a result of an unusual play. What a glorious play it was too.

As Rose was driving the lane, it appeared he was trying to pass the ball out to Taj Gibson near the perimeter.

Instead, the ball bounced right into the face of Cavaliers defender Tristan Thompson and bounced perfectly back to Rose who scored with a wide-open layup.

The bounce was so perfect that it didn’t even look intentional. That’s definitely a shot that’s going to be used in games of HORSE down the road.

It was “heads up” defense by Thompson to get in there and break up the pass, but unfortunately it set up perfectly for Rose to score.

In case you didn’t know, Rose has this knack for making the unthinkable happen at the rim. Now it appears he has the powers to control defenders heads to set him up for buckets.

If that’s not the most incredible ability a player can have, then what is?
