Chicago Bulls point guard Derrick Rose was already making big plays against the Cavaliers to start the game.

In the first four games of the series against the Cavaliers, Derrick Rose made many ridiculous plays.

He wasted no time in Game 5 when it came to performing in the theater of the ridiculous.

Driving with the ball and just the unheralded task of having to beat LeBron James, Rose used great footwork and went straight up.

Getting full extension with the left arm, Rose had just enough to throw the ball up.

Look at the form and extension as Rose had LeBron right up in his grill the entire duration of the play.

Rose is no stranger to having a magician’s touch at the hoop and the layup against James was no different.

All postseason, Rose has looked like the point guard that once won the MVP and not like the point guard that has been hobbled the past few seasons.

The resurgence of Derrick Rose has begun, and what has become a common trend this playoff series, he is making big plays over his superstar counterpart LeBron James.

It’s like watching poetry in motion when Rose goes for the finish.
