Patriots fans stage sit-in at NFL offices (Video)
By Josh Hill
New England Patriots fans have literally banded together and handcuffed themselves to each other to protest Tom Brady’s suspension.
Tom Brady has been suspended by the NFL for his role in DeflateGate — in case you didn’t hear. But if you somehow missed the news, then you’re obviously not a New England Patriots fan, as there is already incredible backlash towards the league for suspending Brady and it’s getting to insane levels of ridiculousness.
Rather than protest the Patriots suspension by the NFL, some Patriots fans have staged a sit-in and handcuffed themselves to each other as a sign of unity.
This is a real thing. Human beings have actually put together a thought process which includes Tom Brady, handcuffs and the NFL offices in NYC.
There’s a reason people roll their eyes at Patriots fans and this is a prime example of that. It’s one thing to protest the suspension of Brady by nit giving the NFL your money during the time he’s suspended but it’s another thing to handcuff yourself to one another in the lobby of the league offices to protest.
Of course, emphasis needs to be put on staged, as this is a publicity stunt being put on by the Barstool Sports gang.
It makes it less interesting but it’s still something that more than a few Patriots fans probably thought about doing and now have the push of motivation to make it so.
