The younger generation knows all about what’s ‘hot’ and what’s ‘not’ when it comes to trends and fads. Videobombing and photobombing has been the latest trend to hit the 30-and-under generation and it seems like athletes seem to be into doing it as well.

In fact, the Miami Heat, namely Chris Bosh, have been known as the ultimate videobombers — or at least they used to be known as such when LeBron James was still with the organization.

Some members of different generations have been trying to adopt these types of fads to seem cool with their children, and most of the time it just backfires as they look flat-out silly. During Game 5 between the Washington Wizards and Atlanta Hawks at Philips Arena, the TNT broadcast was videobombed by a dad who tried to be funny for his son — and it worked.

This seemed to be the dad’s 15 minutes of fame as he got his chance to make a mark on the internet, that he may not even use, and he pounced.

You have to give this guy some credit, he did a nice little dad dance on TV just to get a chuckle or two on his son. It was obvious he did this to try and be cool for his kid as he looked over for some approval.

The videobomb wasn’t quite on Chris Bosh’s level, but it was close.
