While visiting ESPN’s campus on Wednesday, New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski and New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr competed while trying to catch a bunch of random stuff.
New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski and New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr are in Bristol, Connecticut to promote the upcoming release of Madden 16. Both men are nominees to be featured on the cover of the iconic game, which is set to be announced on SportsCenter.
But they made the rounds while on ESPN’s campus, stopping by a bunch of shows, answering a lot of the same questions over and over again.
They did get to do some out of the box things, like catch random stuff thrown at them in a one-handed catch off. Both men make their living catching footballs and Odell Beckham Jr provided one of the best catches in NFL history when he had a ridiculous one-handed leaning back catch that seemed to defy physics.
So why not throw a bunch of stuff at the two men and see what they can catch.
List of things thrown at them in this ridiculous bit include: smoothies, meatball subs, a carton of eggs, blueberry pies and a bouncy ball.
If you’re curious who won, it was Gronk surprisingly. If you’re really curious, you can watch the whole thing below.
