ESPN unveiled a memorial plaque for legendary host Stuart Scott on SportsCenter’s set.

The sports world is still processing the loss of legendary ESPN personality Stuart Scott. Everyone has been remembering Scott and honoring them in their own special way, like Ernie Johnson giving his EMMY to Scott’s daughters.

Today, ESPN and SportsCenter honored Scott with a memorial plaque in their studio. On a wall of famous catchphrases there is a very special section for Scott’s famous “boo-yah” call.

The rest of the wall is red and black in SportsCenter colors, but this section is raised up from the wall and features a more reflective background. It is subtle, it isn’t like a plaque you’d see in Memorial Park at Yankee Stadium, but it is just as meaningful nonetheless.

It’s subtleness is almost what makes it so special.
