The Great American Ballpark caught on fire Friday night as the Reds took on the Giants at home

Well, some Cincinnati Reds fans had themselves quite the inconvenience on Friday night as they tried to watch their team take on the San Francisco Giants.

The Reds were taking on the Giants Friday night, and at one point during the game, a portion of the outfield had to be evacuated because of a fire. Yes…there was an actual fire that started in the outfield while the game was going on.

Well, now, that’s not something that you expect to deal with when you’re out trying to enjoy a nice night out at the ballpark, but it happened nonetheless.

The good news is that it was able to be brought under control and no one was injured. It was merely just a freak accident that, again, caused quite the inconvenience for some folks that were trying to enjoy themselves a nice night of baseball on this Friday between the Reds and the Giants.
