The Cleveland Cavaliers are in the Eastern Conference Finals this year, and J.R. Smith is going to troll anyone and everyone who counted him out earlier this season.

When the Cleveland Cavaliers acquired J.R. Smith from the New York Knicks, it was a trade that was actually built around the acquisition of Iman Shumpert. But since that trade, it has been J.R. Smith who has stepped up in big ways and helped lead the Cavaliers to the Conference Finals.

Smith missed the first two games of the Cavs series against the Chicago Bulls after he was suspended for cold clocking Jae Crowder in the first-round against Boston. But since his return, Smith has been a stud for the Cavaliers and he’s not letting his former boss in New York forget about it.

Immediately after winning his way into the Conference Finals on Thursday night, J.R. Smith’s troll game was strong as he fired shots at Phil Jackson thanks to NBA Memes.

This, of course, comes not only after Jackson traded Iman Shumpert and J.R. Smith to the Cavaliers this season but after Jackson was caught trolling teams in the postseason for not being good enough to win. It was the pot calling the kettle black in the most bizarre of ways, and none of it was lost on J.R. Smith.

Cleveland has found a real gem with J.R. Smith, as he’s an offensive production machine at times and is going to be critical in the cave quest to make it back to the NBA Finals. It’s been almost ten years since the Cavaliers went to the NBA Finals, but this is a first time trip for guys like J.R. Smith — and the trolling likely won’t stop anytime soon.
