Fan dresses like Superman, streaks on field during rugby match

Have you ever wanted to attempt to streak across the field and make a fool of yourself on national television and in front of a national audience? Yeah, me neither, but this ridiculous fan wasn’t ashamed in the least during a rugby match in France.

Toulouse and Grenoble faced off on Saturday afternoon and the two teams were playing for bragging rights, but one fan was growing restless in the stands, for some reason or another, and took to the field decked out in Superman gear.

Watch as this guy gets absolutely crushed by security during the take-down process in amazing UFC fashion as the streaker’s night was ended a bit early.

Seemingly with ease, the Superman-clad fan ran up to players and shook hands and high-fived before taking a turn for the goal posts. Think about it for a second, a rugby field is huge, roughly 80-90 meters across, so the fan had to run a ways to get out to where the players were positioned.

The fact that security guards didn’t attempt a take-down until after he was shaking hands with these professionals and doing an awkward Superman pose under the goal posts is kind of ridiculous.

Either way, the security guard who did make the initial tackle should be looked at to join the rugby league. That was quite the hit and he deserves some major credit for ending the silliness by the Superman wannabe.
