White Sox fan Barack Obama snubbed the Cubs on Twitter Friday morning.
Washington’s farewell address. Roosevelt signing off on the New Deal. Barack Obama joining Twitter.
What are watershed moments in American presidential history, Alex?
Hello, Twitter! It's Barack. Really! Six years in, they're finally giving me my own account.

After absolutely crushing his first-ever tweet – nice use of exclamations, proper grammar and instant verification – Barry O went along his merry way following an assortment of accounts. Pretty standard operating procedure, really – his wife, some past presidents, a few Cabinet members and all of Chicago’s professional sports teams. Well, almost all of them …
@POTUS We're big fans of America. Just saying. #YouMissedATeam

Whoopsie. Looks like the noted White Sox fan just buzzed the Cubbies’ tower. First the presidential library and now this snub – Barry O is throwing some serious cheddar at the North Side. No worries, though, the Cubs have an ace in the hole: FLOTUS.
@NBCSN @POTUS We wouldn't say unhappy, but we'd be honored to have his support. Perhaps @MichelleObama will influence him! #CubsFan

Seems only fitting that the lovable losers would catch a presidential snub. Then again, considering POTUS’ track record on the diamond, that’s probably all the Cubs would be able to catch.
