Carmelo Anthony did a Q&A and revealed he’s afraid of cats.

Carmelo Anthony isn’t afraid of much on the basketball court. There’s no shot he’s afraid to put up, no defender he’s afraid to take on, no big moment that he’s afraid to step up in. Off of the court, he’s apparently afraid of cats.

Anthony sat down with Facebook to do a 60-second Q&A session in a rapid-fire format.

You can watch the video at this link here.

Did you catch the nugget of gold?

"“What animal are you most afraid of?”“A cat.”"

That answer is so fantastic in many ways. Sure, there are plenty of people who can’t stand cats, but being afraid of them—more than any other animal—is an entirely different thing altogether. Was there some experience in Melo’s life that scarred him for life that happened to involve a cat? Did he used to have night terrors as a child that centered around cats? Does he fear rejection from animals? These are the answers that we need!

In all seriousness, I’m just waiting for someone to overreact to Anthony saying that he loves Los Angeles and turn that into him possibly wanting to be traded or something.

Hopefully he’ll be able to keep his cool and avoid cats, though, whether he’s strolling through New York or L.A.
