Buccaneers release first Jameis Winston TV spot (Video)

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have released a new ad that promotes their new face of the franchise, Jameis Winston

Jameis Winston was the No. 1 overall pick in the NFL Draft recently, being selected to be the new face of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. It’s pretty much expected that Winston will be the starter come Day One for Lovie Smith and the Bucs, which means only one thing: It’s time to start marketing your new face.

Well Sunday night that’s exactly what the Buccaneers did as they released this new television spot that promotes the former Heisman winner specifically.

With the presence that he brings to the table in Tampa Bay, there’s no question that Winston is the most polarizing figure in the organization at this time, and he probably will be for the next few years to come. That being said, the NFL is also a business, so the Buccaneers would be well-served to keep marketing their star as much as they can.

Winston was the 2013 Heisman Trophy winner, the same year that he led Florida State to a 14-0 record and a BCS National Championship victory over the SEC Champion Auburn Tigers.

Now, he’ll be looking to collect some hardware for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers–an organization that can certainly use some.
