Jahlil Okafor can hold 13 tennis balls in one hand
Jahlil Okafor can hold 13 tennis balls in one hand – and there is video evidence.
National Champion, top NBA Draft prospect, World Record tennis ball-holder. Ok, that last one is just a guess, but I’m willing to bet that it’s true.
Former Duke Blue Devil and current NBA prospect Jahlil Okafor has monstrous hands. They’re so large, in fact, that Okafor can fit 13 tennis balls in just one of them.
Earlier this week, Okafor spent some time with the guys at Bleacher Report discussing a variety of topics, including which team will select him in the draft. In addition to draft talk, the 19-year-old big man was challenged to see how many tennis balls he could fit in one hand. His total was 13.
That is 4 cans of tennis balls plus one more for good measure.
No, seriously, there is video evidence to prove it.
After the impressive tennis ball display, Okafor and the guys played beer pong to determine which team he was going to end up playing for. And why not? He is basically still a college kid after all.
Okafor, who averaged 17.3 points and 8.5 rebounds in one season at Duke, is projected by most to go either first or second overall. The draft order is yet to be determined, but the Minnesota Timberwolves and the New York Knicks have the best chance of grabbing him.
Wherever he ends up, he’s sure to make an impact right away – whether or not tennis balls are involved.
