Aaron Hernandez was reportedly the lookout during a gang-related prison fight.

Aaron Hernandez was reportedly the lookout as two fellow inmates engaged in a gang-related fight. According to CNN, the former Patriots star kept watch as one prisoner entered another’s cell to engage in the altercation. A spokesman for the department of corrections has declined comment, but CNN reports that Hernandez and the other two men have all been punished.

"Hernandez allegedly agreed to be the lookout for another inmate who went into another prisoner’s cell at Souza-Baranowski Correctional Center. Those two inmates got into a fight Monday, the source says, believed to be gang-related.All three men are being disciplined over the incident, including the former professional football player, who was put in a special management section."

Hernandez is currently being housed at Souza-Baranowski Correctional Center as he awaits a trial date for the 2012 double homicide with which he’s charged. Last month he was found guilty of murder in the first degree for the killing of Odin Lloyd, and is currently serving life in prison with no chance for parole.
