Atlanta Hawks fan cries into shirt after Game 2 loss (Video)
By Josh Hill
The Atlanta Hawks are getting choked out by the Cleveland Cavaliers, and Hawks fans just can’t help but shed tears over what they’re seeing.
When the Atlanta Hawks rolled into the Eastern Conference Finals this year, it was looking like this might be their year to win it all.
In short — it’s not.
The Atlanta Hawks are getting absolutely steamrolled by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Conference Finals as injuries have set them back and LeBron James has made them look mortal. This is a team that won over 60-games this season, but the Hawks are watching their wings get forcibly clipped and the pain is being felt by the fans.
For one Atlanta Hawks fan, the loss was just too much to bare and he couldn’t help but cry into his shirt following the 94-83 loss to the Cavaliers.
This is the pain of Hawks fans everywhere, but it’s nothing compared to the pain that the fans on the other side of this have felt. Atlanta has at least had hope in the recent past with their professional franchises, while the Cleveland sports scene is so bad that their river literally caught fire.
Water burned in Cleveland — that’s how bad things have been.
So no matter how much this loss hurt for the Hawks and their fans, let’s put it in perspective a bit.
