OK, maybe it’s time that we stop asking Patriots fans, famous or not, for their opinions on the Tom Brady suspension

Tom Brady is being forced to serve a four-game suspension to start the NFL season this year due to his role in Deflategate, this much we know. What we also know is that because of this factoid, Patriots fans are a tad bit bitter and they’re going to great lengths to defend their beloved quarterback and fight for his innocence.

Now, there are a lot of famous celebrities out there that also happen to be Patriots fans, and they’re making their opinions on the matter known as well. And just like the regular Joe New England supporters, they’re praising Brady to the high heavens and claiming his innocence.

On Friday Mark Wahlberg appeared on the Dan Patrick Show, and being the Patriots supporter that he has been for a long time, he wanted to stick up for his pal. However, he could have went about describing Brady a little better.

During the interview, Wahlberg would describe Brady as an “American hero” and a “cultural icon.”

No, really, it happened. You can watch below.

Yeah, might be time that we stop asking the Patriots fans for their opinion on things here. We’re starting to reach new levels of insanity.
