Fan catches baseball bat with one hand, somehow doesn’t spill beer (Video)

It’s a mystery to all exactly how this man not only caught the bat, but managed to not drop a his hops-filled beverage

It’s quite the rare occurrence when you can look at someone in the stands of a sporting event and say that they may have better instincts than the players on the field, but as they say, there’s an exception to every rule. That being said, what this fan pulled off at a baseball game recently was indeed the exception to that rule.

When you’re at a baseball game, not only must you always be aware of foul balls coming your way unexpectedly, but you have to be on the lookout for bats that accidentally slip out of the players’ hands as well. At a recent game between the St. Paul Saints and Fargo-Moorehead Redhawks, the batter did have the bat slip out of his hands and it went right into the stands.

What happened next, though, is pretty insane, to be honest.

A fan in the stands not only caught the bat, but he did so with one hand. He had to make the catch with one hand because, duh, he had a beer in the other. Now to make the whole scene more incredible, in addition to snagging the bat with one paw, he did NOT spill the beer and he rightfully let everyone know about it.

You, sir, are a legend.
