No matter how far they have to go, New England Patriots fans are going to fight for the innocence of their quarterback, Tom Brady. On Sunday, the Patriots faithful are going to take this a step further.
On this Memorial Day Sunday, while many people will be holding barbecues and honoring fallen soldiers that have given their lives for the country throughout the years, Patriots fans will be getting together for a different cause. Yes, they will be gathering to fight for the cause of rescinding the suspension of Mr. Brady.
According to Boston.com, Patriots fans will be gathering at Gillette Stadium on Sunday to hold a “Free Tom Brady” rally. A Facebook page is promoting the event and notes that it will be “a peaceful rally to protest the unjust football arrest of half God half man Tom Brady.”
No, seriously, that’s what it says…
After his role in the Deflategate scandal was determined following the release of the Ted Wells Report, Brady was suspended the first four games of the season, in addition to the Patriots suffering some punishments as a team as well.
