Houston Astros turn 5-4-3 triple play vs Tigers (Video)

The Houston Astros became the second team to accomplish the feat here in the 2015 regular season
In this 2015 Major League Baseball season, the Houston Astros have certainly been one of the bigger surprises in the game. Currently they sit in first place in the American League West, 4.5 games in front of the Los Angeles Angels. They’re superior in many portions of the game, and on Saturday, they showed how well they can perform on defense.
Saturday afternoon the Astros are taking on the Detroit Tigers, and in the bottom of the fifth inning with the Tigers holding on to a 2-1 lead, Ian Kinsler was at the plate. On a 2-1 delivery, Kinsler grounded the ball to Astros third baseman Jonathan Villar, and that’s when the magic happened.
From that point, Villar would step on third, and the end result was a 5-4-3 triple play. Again, the second of the season by a Major League club this year.
These Astros do not like to disappoint this season at all so far, and this right here was more proof of that. This was extremely well-executed by all parties involved and will definitely be on all the highlight reels for the remainder of the 2015 baseball season.
