NBA Playoffs 2015, Cavaliers vs. Hawks Game 3: Live stream, start time, TV Channel and more
By Josh Hill
The Cavaliers vs. Hawks series took a bad turn in Game 2 thanks to injuries, but Cleveland has a lead they won’t want to give up.
Through two games of the Eastern Conference Finals, the Cleveland Cavaliers have beaten both the Atlanta Hawks and the injury bug. The Hawks have lost two of their biggest contributors and have injuries to two other stars that could destroy any hope of the team making it to the NBA Finals.
DeMarre Carroll and Al Horford both suffered scary knee injuries over the course of the first two games, and both Thabo Sefolosha and Kyle Korver are not playing at all in this series. Sefolosha was lost before the season ended and Korver suffered a ‘severe ankle injury’ in Game 2.
All of this bodes well for the Cavaliers chances, despite the fact that LeBron James continues to take hard fouls and Kyrie Irving has played basically five good minutes over the course of two games — one of which he didn’t even play in due to injury.
Here’s a look at the updated NBA Playoff bracket now that we’re three games into the Conference Finals stage of the postseason:
