Dodgers fan posts second video of him catching home run
By Mike Dyce
A Los Angeles Dodgers fan filmed himself catching a home run for the second time this month and posted the video to YouTube.
One Los Angeles Dodgers fan impressed everyone when he filmed himself catching a home run, giving baseball fans everywhere who have never caught a ball a first person perspective of what it is like.
Almost exactly three weeks later, he caught another home run ball. Just like the first time, the camera was rolling for this catch.
Everyone was waiting for the film of this home run catch to be released and it is not as clean as the first home run ball, but it is still just as entertaining.
He had to work a little harder to catch this one, leaning over a railing and catching it by the tip of his glove. You can’t see the ball fly into his glove but you get the aftermath and jubilant celebration.
I’m not a fan of trends like selfie sticks or people holding up video recording devices at seemingly everything, like concerts. Are you going to really re-watch that concert you filmed on your cellphone?
But this is one trend I could get behind, and I hope we see more videos of people catching home run balls coming in the future.
The video is sandwiched in a longer video, and comes in at around the two minute and twenty second mark.Check it out below:
