Cleveland Cavaliers pose with Eastern Conference trophy (Video)

The Cleveland Cavaliers are off to the NBA Finals for the second time ever, and the team is basking in the moment.
When LeBron James returned to the Cleveland Cavaliers, he preached patience, but Cavs fans didn’t have to wait long to get back to the NBA Finals. After a dominating win in Game 4 of the Conference Finals, the Cavaliers are headed to just their second NBA Finals appearance in franchise history.
After their 118-88 blowout win in the Eastern Conference Finals, the Cavaliers posed with the Eastern Conference Finals trophy and basked in the moment with one another.
It’s the fifth straight year that LeBron James has played in the NBA Finals, but it’s just the second time he’s taken the Cleveland Cavaliers there. But this isn’t the same LeBron James that left the team in 2010, as he’s matured in more ways than one and is seemingly unstoppable.
This is why Cavaliers fans wanted LeBron James back, this is the moment they were waiting for but the dream is still out there. Cleveland has won the Eastern Conference, but they haven’t won the NBA Finals — not yet, at least.
Things are looking good for the first time in a long time for the Cavaliers, and that’s good for basketball. The NBA needs a positive story, and LeBron James returning to his kingdom to lead his team to glory is about as good a story as it gets.
