ESPN’s Britt McHenry received some advice from Charles Barkley during the NBA Playoffs
Both Charles Barkley and Britt McHenry are covering the NBA Eastern Conference Finals currently for their respective media outlets, and while we sometimes give Chuck some flak for things that he says, there’s no doubt that McHenry is having a worse year by far than Barkley when it comes to saying things that you’ll regret.
Recently, though, these two met up and Barkley took the role of the veteran, apparently.
McHenry posted this picture to her Instagram account of meeting the NBA legend and TNT analyst, and right in the caption she noted that Barkley gave her some words of encouragement, so to speak.
Now of course she could be talking about Barkley giving her some advice about working in the media, but it would also be safe to assume that he had a small chat with her in regards to her recent incident that had her in the news for all the wrong reasons.
McHenry was caught on security tape berating a tow truck company employee after her car was hauled off, and she was less than kind in the way she came across. That’s kinda putting it lightly.
So, maybe Chuck was able to talk a little more sense to her about how to treat other human beings, no matter what the circumstances are.
