The Cleveland Cavaliers will be getting Kyrie Irving back in Game 4 tonight against the Atlanta Hawks — but is that the right move?

The Cleveland Cavaliers need to win Game 4 against the Atlanta Hawks to try and afford themselves the maximum amount of rest possible before the NBA Finals begin in early June. With a little over a week until tip off for the Finals, the Cavaliers are looking to close out the Hawks, but more importantly are looking to get their team back to full strength for a Finals run.

That means getting Kyrie Irving as healthy as possible, something that entails him playing in Game 4 and working his way back into the mix.

According to Marc J. Spears from Yahoo! Sports, Kyrie Irving will play in Game 4 against the Hawks but will be on a minutes restriction.

Irving working his way back into the lineup is critical, especially in these late stages of the postseason. Without Irving, the Cavaliers are depending solely on LeBron James and his theatrics — of which we saw the very best of in Game 3 on Sunday night.

But with Kyrie Irving, the Cavaliers matchup much better against the Golden State Warriors and have the ability to space the floor with LeBron and J.R. Smith out doing their thing. It’s not the most perfect lineup, as Kevin Love is sorely missed, but the Cavaliers are a much better title contender with Kyrie in the lineup and that’s what they’re starving for in working him back in for Game 4.
