The Cleveland Cavaliers are off to the NBA Finals, and J.R. Smith is already starting to live up the moment.
When the Cleveland Cavaliers acquired J.R. Smith from the Knicks this season, they knew they were getting a character. Now that the team is headed to the NBA Finals, J.R. Smith is kicking back and enjoying the moment like only he can.
You can’t blame the guy either, as he started the season with the New York Knicks — who couldn’t even win a contest to have the worst record in the league. Thanks to Phil Jackson’s “plan”, J.R. Smith has ended up with the Cleveland Cavaliers and is off the the NBA Finals.
After the Eastern Conference Finals win by the Cavaliers, J.R. Smith was invited to the podium with LeBron James and proceeded to take a selfie — in total J.R. Smith fashion.
To hell with your podium etiquette, J.R. Smith is going to do what he wants when he wants.
It was a heck of a game for J.R. Smith, as he was draining threes, making plays and even managed to show off his acting range on a Tristan Thompson jumper at the end of the first-quarter.
This selfie brings it all full circle and reminds us how fun J.R. Smith is going to be in the NBA Finals this year.
