ESPN’s Ryen Russillo had a perfect response for the critics of LeBron James and his career to this point
LeBron James is one of the more maligned athletes on the entire planet, and some people just simply cannot get over their hate for the man and the way that he has handled his career to date. However, he does have his defenders out there and ESPN’s Ryen Russillo may have done the best job of anyone in regards to setting some people straight.
Russillo was filling in for Keith Olbermann on Wednesday night and in his monologue for the show, he took on the topic of LeBron James and all the hate that is thrust his way. When all was said and done in this mini-rant, Russillo ended up bringing up some pretty interesting points that will have even the most pessimistic of people thinking for a bit.
Pretty much everything that Russillo said there was on point. Generally on ESPN TV he brings up some tremendous points about the sport of basketball, and this was no different. People might hate that LeBron has worked the NBA system the way he has, but as Russillo pointed out, there’s really nothing wrong with what he’s done in his illustrious career.
People will thrust the hate on LeBron for the rest of his career and even after that, but before they do, they might want to think about some of what was said above first.
