Mark Sanchez sings bad music, steals phone (Video)
Mark Sanchez is famous for being caught in embarrassing moments. The Philadelphia Eagles quarterback was in the all-time blooper when he played for the New York Jets, serving up the butt-fumble when he smashed into guard Brandon Moore’s backside.
Apparently, Sanchez has had enough of being a joke (except when he’s buys turning the ball over four times in a game, then it’s cool). On Tuesday, Sanchez was chilling out with Eagles receiver Riley Cooper and singing karaoke. The saddest part is that Sanchez was singing I Want It That Way, which is a song that should never be uttered by anyone, ever.
At the bar, a Philadelphia fan named Marquis was filming the event with his phone. On Wednesday, Marquis called 97,5 The Fanatic to tell how Cooper and Sanchez called him on stage with him, before Sanchez did this, per The Big Lead:
In case you can’t tell, that is Sanchez taking Marquis’ phone. Per the fan, Sanchez refused to give the phone back before finally telling Marquis that he could pick it up at the bar. After talking with multiple bar employees and the DJ, the phone was not found. Marquis went back to Sanchez to inquire about the phone, who then produced it from his pocket.
Ultimately, we don’t have any proof that Marquis is telling the truth, although the video clearly shows Sanchez being in contact with the phone. If it is true, Sanchez is basically acting like an upset teenager. Considering his level of play on the field, he should be doing all he can to make friends off it.
