79.
The Dallas Mavericks have some interesting decisions to make this offseason. It seems the whole Rajon Rondo thing isn’t going to really work out quite as expected, and no one knows whether or not they are going to re-sign Tyson Chandler. So in the draft this year, it’s important for them to snag someone who will produce now, but at the right position.

At point guard, they are lacking someone who can score. They still have J.J. Barea to dish out his little scoop passes, but if Cameron Payne could come off the bench and average 8.0-10.0 points a game, it would be huge for the Mavericks.

Especially if they are trying to win now with Dirk Nowitzki still in the lineup. Dirk represents that guy at the local YMCA who can barely run up and down the court, but still shoots lights out. This will soon turn into that guy who just walks on the track at the YMCA because he is by no means getting any younger. If the Mavericks want to win now, they should draft Payne and look to do something in free agency that doesn’t involve Rondo.
. PG. Murray State. Cameron Payne. 21. player
