The St. Louis Cardinals got quite the unwanted visitors on Friday night when they took on the Dodgers

The St. Louis Cardinals took on the Los Angeles Dodgers on Friday night out west, and they were able to come away with the 2-1 win on the road. However, not their entire night was all that enjoyable, as they got a visit from some friends that they really could have done without.

Prior to the game getting underway, a pesky group of four skunks found their way into the St. Louis dugout. Now, solving this problem is as simple as just calling someone experienced to lure them out of there, right?

Well, as it turned out, things weren’t exactly that easy.

The skunks not only found their way into the Cardinals’ dugout, but they ended getting themselves trapped under a photographer’s stand, where they stayed for the duration of the game on Friday night.

Well, that’s definitely something that you don’t see every day. But, if the Cardinals want to look on some sort of bright side in all of this, they did end up winning the game. Now did the skunks have anything to do with this? Probably not, but we know that baseball is a game of superstitions.

Still, don’t look for the Cardinals to be stashing skunks in their dugout anytime soon.
