NBA Finals: LeBron James fires incredible assist to J.R. Smith (Video)
LeBron James put his impeccable passing on display with an assist to J.R. Smith.
LeBron James has the monster task of carrying the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2015 NBA Finals without both Kevin Love and now Kyrie Irving flanking him due to injuries. One would figure that a hefty amount of LeBron shot attempts would be the result.
While James hasn’t been shy about putting up shots in Game 2 of the Finals, it’s this pass to J.R. Smith on the wing that might be his best highlight of the night against the Golden State Warriors:
LeBron has shown numerous times that he’s the best passer at his size (meaning both height and bulk) in the history of the league. There’s never been anyone with the physique of James that can fire passes with that kind of precision and power.
This is the type of play that we also tend to take for granted when it comes to LeBron. He’s been doing things like this for so long that we sometimes forget to appreciate just how incredible it is.
The good news is that if the Cavs want to have a chance in this series, we’re going to have to see plenty other highlights like this from LeBron throughout the rest of the Finals.
