LeBron James is the best player on the planet, but Steph Curry is the MVP — something Cavaliers fans took exception to during Game 3.

The Cleveland Cavaliers turned in a thrilling win in Game 2 of the NBA Finals this past weekend, and a lot of that had to dow with LeBron James willing the team to victory. He’s widely recognized as the best player on the planet, but he’s not the best player in the NBA.

That disctintion belongs to Steph Curry, who is residing on the other side of the court from LeBron in the NBA Finals. The first two games of the series were in Oakland, where Warriors fans loudly embraced Curry as the MVP of the league.

To counter the fact that Steph Curry came to The Q as the MVP, Cavaliers fans gave LeBorn James a chant he’s used to hearing.

LeBron James had an insane year this season, but the fact that he didn’t live up to his own insane standards is why he didn’t win the MVP. Think about that, LeBron James had an off-year according to MVP voters and still was the third best player in the league.

That’s insane to fathom, and it’s proof of just how wildly talented he is. Steph Curry is the MVP, but in Cleveland there’s only one king sitting on that throne.
