The Chicago Blackhawks could use some good luck after a rough Game 3.

Many believe dropping a coin in a wishing well can help bring good luck. Fans of the Chicago Blackhawks decided they needed to take it a step further.

A well in Chicago’s Garfield Park Conservatory currently features this expertly crafted Stanley Cup made of coins with the message “Let’s Go Hawks” spelled out, via Fansided’s Mike Dyce.

That good luck charm didn’t appear to have much impact during Game 3 on Monday night at the United Center. Chicago gave up two goals to the relatively unheralded third line of the Tampa Bay Lightning, eventually falling by a score of 3-2.

The ultra-talented Lightning now lead the Stanley Cup Finals two games to one. Chicago has to come out on top in Wednesday’s Game 4 or face the prospect of going back to Tampa Bay in a must-win situation.

Of course, the Blackhawks have been down before numerous times with their current core group, including in these playoffs. With the likes of Patrick Kane (who hasn’t gotten going in the series yet) and Jonathan Toews, the Lightning probably feel Chicago doesn’t need any extra luck.

No matter what happens the rest of the series, the Stanley Cup coin sculpture is a pretty cool piece of art.
