FanDuel Lineup For June 13
Welcome back to another round of daily fantasy baseball advice. As a reminder this advice is best served as a guide for your daily fantasy baseball team. If you feel like another player would better serve your team or your needs then please use him.
Pitcher:
Kyle Hendricks, Cubs ($6,800): Hendricks has been a pretty good pitcher as of late. Hendricks gets the comfort of pitching in his home ball park where he has been pretty solid. You could certainly find a better option in Greinke, but he is at a much greater cost.
Catcher:
Buster Posey, Giants ($3,900): Posey has an excellent career record against Josh Collmenter. He stands at .478 average with three home runs with 23 at bats. He is also been a very hot player lately so he should be apt to get us some nice fantasy points.
First Baseman:
Yonder Alonso, Padres ($3,000): Alonso has been a pretty productive player over the last several games. He has his batting average up to .342 with 18 RBI. He is pretty safe to deploy considering the available options.
Second Baseman:
Ben Zobrist, Athletics ($2,600): Zobrist has not been playing too great lately, but he comes at a great price and has a decent record against C.J. Wilson. Wilson is also coming off of two bad performances in a row, each of which he has surrendered over 5 runs each. He is a decent option considering our choices.
Third Baseman:
Manny Machado, Orioles ($3,400) Machado has been playing great here lately. He is riding a six-game hitting streak where he hit two home runs, three RBI and seven runs. Machado has a solid record against C.C. Sabathia and he is a great option.
Shortstop:
Brandon Crawford, Giants ($3,000): Crawford is riding a pretty nice hot streak. He is batting .287 with nine home runs and 40 RBI. He only has a .222 average against Josh Collmenter, but we are not overflowing with options at the SS position.
Outfield:
Yasiel Puig, Dodgers ($4,400): Puig has been pretty crazy lately. He scored 14 fantasy points the other night and has been excellent since he returned from injury. He is an exciting player to own in any format of fantasy baseball whether it is a daily league or a regular league.
Brett Gardner, Yankees ($3,900): Gardner has hit safely in his last six games. He is riding a very nice little hot streak. He has five home runs and 14 SBs on the season and three of the stolen bases are over the last six games.
Justin Upton, Padres ($3,700): We are basically paying for upside here. Upton always has the power to go yard. He is batting .290 on the season with 12 home runs and 38 RBI. He has always hit Zach Greinke well and has a career .390 average against him. He is a safe option for us and I feel good about deploying him in this lineup.
As always we thank you for stopping by and wish you FanDuelers the best of luck.
